Finally the day has come! Today happens the worldwide digital release of Final Symphony on iTunes. The album contains 94 minutes of music from Final Fantasy VI, VII and X recorded at Abbey Road Studios with performance by London Symphony Orchestra with arrangements by Jonne Valtonen, Roger Wanamo and Masashi Hamauzu.
Surprisingly, the track list brings some new features compared to the set list of the first concert in Germany back in 2013. In the second part of the interview, producer Thomas Boecker answered these and other questions for Hadouken, which brings also more curiosities and discusses the viability of other concerts (including a concert with Yuzo Koshiro’s music!).
Track list:
01 Fantasy Overture (Circle within a Circle within a Circle)
02 Final Fantasy VI (Symphonic Poem: Born with the Gift of Magic)
03 Final Fantasy X (Piano Concerto)
04 Encore: Final Fantasy X (Suteki Da Ne)
05 Final Fantasy VII (Symphony in Three Movements)
06 Encore: Final Fantasy VII (Continue?)
07 Encore: Final Fantasy Series (Fight, Fight, Fight!)
